Before installing electric lights, use a flashlight to experiment where you want the lights to shine. Use a flashlight with an adjustable beam to determine whether you want it install a broad sweep of light or a narrow spot accenting one particular feature. Once you know where you want your lights, mark the spots with sprinkler flags.
