I see this is the same old re-run crap that does not show how to do the job without removing the sink. I still hope he did not get paid for this.

August 15 2011 at 12:36 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyafter following your instuctons,i broke the sink both hot and cold valves under the sink flooded my house, cut my hand on the broken sink.after getting back from the emergency room(16 stiches) i called my plumber, insurance company, and a marriage counselor ..............thanks
August 14 2011 at 11:22 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThat's what I have been doing wrong in the past!! I never thought of taking the sink into the front yard!! I usually just end up on my head under the sink kissing my left shoulder because I can't move. Only to find that I have left the wrench outside. I can't wait to replace the next pop-up that goes bad.

August 14 2011 at 8:22 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWoW i dont know were to start so a home owner is gonna know how to unbolt the old pedestal from the wall.
He makes it look so easy. Try doin that on a sink thats been in for 10 yrs then call me. As a plumber for 30 yrs 1 think i can tell you is never tackle a job u cant do . He doesnt explain how to reinstall the trap and the sink which is is the hardest part because the trap is hidden by the pedestal base and the usually there is no room to work so becarefull before u tackle this job
yes very easy try it with the sink installed and find out how hard it can be. I installed many pop-ups here and in Germany and very seldom I had no leak after first try. There are many more tricks to do it right . But Eric knows I guess. Crazy stuff.
