Step 1: Play in the Sand
If you have a sandbox in your backyard, how do you keep pesky cats out of it? Try using a lid that you make with your own two hands. First, get a cut of plywood that fits the top perfectly.

Step 2: Wood Frame
Frame the outside of the top with small strips of wood and then cover the sandbox, so it stays dry and clean.
