How to Turn a Table Runner Into a Valance

Step 1: Go For a Runner
Spruce up your boring and bland window treatments without blowing your budget. Just repurpose a table runner to create a new window valance. Just unstitch your runner (and if it has arrow corners, cut them off), and place it in a curtain rod. Then just hang it up!

Step 2: The L Word
For another look, cut a piece of MDF (medium density fibreboard) into three three-inch strips. Connect them using L brackets.

Step 3: That’s a Wrap
Then wrap the piece with the valance fabric and drill it to the wall.
