susu that is not always true it can be a accident. my friend who is a smoker dropped her cigarette will love this tip but to be honest this is why i never smoke inside my house, plus smoke leaves stains on walls and make your house smell...that is my opinion

My girl gets carpet burns on her butt and back sometimes. What can we do about those?

I doubt that people who smoke in their house and drop cigarettes on the floor are not really concerned about burns in the carpet.

If you've got a carpet that cheap, pull it up, throw it away and buy better.

The link says, "Household items make it good as new".
Well, unless you're buying new carpet that already has repaired burn holes in it this fix does not make it "good as new".

This worked surprising well. I couldn't get enough fibers from the Berber carpet with a razor blade, so used a loose thread from along the baseboard for filler. Looks great... the burned spots are invisible now!
