Featured pro:
Category: Cooking

Comfort foods are, well, comforting, but they're also usually loaded with fat and excess calories. Here, Sam Talbot shows you how to make a lighter version of macaroni and cheese, as well as a hearty, low-cal white chili that's packed with flavor.

Also the understanding when you drastically decrease the fat in your diet your "good" cholesterol goes down, when you want to keep it high.

This is the typical current belief that fat is the cuprit in high Cholesteral levels. Check out that its the sugar and refined carbs that you add to your diet. People have been eating fat forever......but heart disease and diabetes became more prominent with the increased consumption of sugar in the 1930's. Prior to 1935 heart disease was not rampant.

We've been coooking with low fat milk, cream, half and half, and all other products whenever possible for years....also egg subbstitutes, low and./or no cholesterol products also. We've kept our medical counts at managable levels cooking and eating with these substitutes/ommissions for years!! Why is it taking so long for the food shows, food services, etc to include these heatlh measures in their food preparations??

For hearing impaired or deaf, these videos are wasted. They need to print the recipe and / or include closed captioning. PLEASE.
